Hope everyone had and amazing tankmas and shall have a splendid 2025!

I'm happy seeing the tankmas ADVENTure series continue, and now has been the first year that I've been there on every single day. Yet I hope that would not stop me from coming back next year!

finally getting to the end sequence almost had me tear up, it's been a wonderful month after a rough year.

Oh, and I can finally see the campfire on Firefox now it's been put out wahoo. (Yes I messed with hardware acceleration before) So long and thanks for all the marshmallows!

Yea this year's been hell for me too, was low key tearing up making that end sequence after staying up every night making this thing happen. I'd always wanted to see everyone gathered on a hill to celebrate our journey, and to reflect. It's not just about the right now, it's about what we take with us to the future. In many ways, 2025 rings in the new year.

The controls were really hard to get into. In the tutorial I just kept throwing shuvs to slowly get the meter up, but checking "show me how" halfway annoyingly reset the meter, but eventually I managed to pop higher and actually land a kickflip. As I got the hang of it, flipping the thing around was fun, although it behaves strange on vert, where it flips in another direction, probably to auto catch it. Grinds are really clunky, since the rails act like magnets that suck you into it from a meter away to do something between a boardslide and a noseslide, but it's awesome that there's stalls and darkslides too. I've even managed to do a few primos, but at one point my board just kept respawning upside down so I had to end the session. It's really cool there's a board editor where you can even customise your griptape and share it, so I got pretty close to my own deck. the only real problem is movement, where I most of the time have to stand still to turn the board, and stall a lot when trying to gain speed, but that all probably has to do with the game being designed for mobile devices. It shows a lot of potential!

Thanks for the in-depth review :).

Dude who pretty much grew up on Newgrounds but finally actually made an account in 2018. Been a punk artist for a while but with my interest in video game music I've been experimenting with chiptune, classical, ambient and all that stuff.
