The controls were really hard to get into. In the tutorial I just kept throwing shuvs to slowly get the meter up, but checking "show me how" halfway annoyingly reset the meter, but eventually I managed to pop higher and actually land a kickflip. As I got the hang of it, flipping the thing around was fun, although it behaves strange on vert, where it flips in another direction, probably to auto catch it. Grinds are really clunky, since the rails act like magnets that suck you into it from a meter away to do something between a boardslide and a noseslide, but it's awesome that there's stalls and darkslides too. I've even managed to do a few primos, but at one point my board just kept respawning upside down so I had to end the session. It's really cool there's a board editor where you can even customise your griptape and share it, so I got pretty close to my own deck. the only real problem is movement, where I most of the time have to stand still to turn the board, and stall a lot when trying to gain speed, but that all probably has to do with the game being designed for mobile devices. It shows a lot of potential!
